For more information on how we have developed our service for clients with Huntington’s Disease thus far, please refer to the following article: Developing a service for Huntington’s Disease.
We encourage clients to have as normal a lifestyle as their clinical and physical condition permits and all clients have equal access to the facilities and services described above.
There is a particularly full social programme covering many public holidays, including St Patrick’s Day, St Georges’ Day, American Independence Day, Bonfire night. Our clients and staff are extremely enthusiastic about such events and are always looking for a reason to plan the next one.
Relaxation therapy was introduced in 2010. This service is provided in a dedicated room equipped with specialist sensory equipment which was partly provided via donations from clients’ relatives.
