Thank you so much for the wonderful care you have given X and for all the hard work you have done in preparing her for her future life. We never imagined in our wildest dreams that she would be able to achieve what she already has, this has been due to your professional care. Thank you also for the love and care that has been shown to her. We feel extremely fortunate for X to have had the benefit of BIRU and offer to you our most grateful thanks.

Just to say a huge thank you to all of you for looking after my husband so well. I realize how difficult this has been and you have all been brilliant! Thank you for your kindness to me in what has been a terrible time for the children and my myself. There was always someone caring at the end of the phone and that helped. Thank you again and know that you all made a big difference to my family.

It is obvious that your success as a unit is that you all work together as a team for the benefit of your patients. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble and always done with a smile. You are a tribute to your profession. Your skill, kindness and good humour will be treasured and remembered for the rest of our lives and has forged a great bond with Frenchay Hospital and Huntercombe. Thank you everyone and God bless you all and may you continue to help and inspire many more people back to health and strength in the future.

We offer our heartfelt thanks for the quality of care which our daughter has been receiving at BIRU over the last few months. To see the changes develop in our daughter during her stay with you as you helped her rehabilitate into normal life has been incredible. On behalf of my wife, myself and the whole of our family would you please thank and congratulate every member of your magnificent team for the hours and hours of attention devoted to our daughter’s well being. The journey has been long and at times very painful for both our daughter and the family, but that suffering has been lessened by knowing that she has been in such a high quality and professional environment where the care is second to none. Thank you, thank you, thank you, one and all for giving us back our daughter to be able to take up her life again.

Thank you so very much all of you for giving us our lives back! For all your dedication, patience, kindness and encouragement. We will never forget you.

On behalf of my wife and myself I felt that I ought to write and express our heartfelt thanks for everything you and BIRU have done for me; quite simply it is the most remarkable facility I have ever stayed in. I remember that as I shuffled in the door on the first evening and gone to bed I woke the following morning with the sense that I was now in the most beautiful place. The atmosphere pervades the centre and does as much to heal your patients as the outstanding medical care and therapy. I feel as if I have been given my life back and confusions and alarms that so wracked my wife for most of the past year are now consigned to the past (hopefully!) In fact I now feel better than I have done for years.

I would like to take this opportunity of sincerely thanking you, Dr Graham and all the Team at the Rehab Unit for their good work over the six months I was with you. At no time did I hear a fierce word ( despite ample provocation! ) and I am sincerely grateful for the care, professionalism and humour which I unfailingly received. I am convinced that, assuming I make a full recovery ( which I confidently predict ) that my stay with you was crucial to this and I appreciate all that the Team has achieved.

Thank you doesn’t quit seem enough! At the start when I felt all was lost, you gave me hope. You gave me support, love and kindness when I needed it most. Through all your hard work, dedication and caring a huge part of X is back with me. Not only have you helped X you have helped us as a family. We’ve shared everything tears, laughter, celebrations, cups of tea, chicken pix and a new baby! It’s been an incredible journey and we’re ready now for the next stage. Thanks for everything, we will miss you loads.
