The clinical team are involved in the assessment and treatment of our young people, reviewing their progress regularly to assess physical and psychological well - being. We are committed to providing an intensive short - stay treatment programme where families and staff work closely together in a therapeutic and practical way to equip them with skills in order to return home.
Involving the young people in matters big or small creates an inclusive environment that is young person friendly. Young people's input regarding the decor, physical environment, improvements to the hospital are heard in various ways, including satisfaction surveys and community meetings. This leads to engaging the young people and creating an appropriate environment. Working together as a multi - disciplinary team, involving families and, of course, the young person, results in an open and honest working environment to ultimately benefit the young person and their recovery.
