The Huntercombe Hospital - Edinburgh provides in-patient and out-patient treatment for children and adolscent mental health and eating disorders and adult mental health and adult eating disorders.
Our staff team are highly experienced in helping patients find their path to recovery. All our patients are different, and we are used to working with individual care plans, there is not one model of recovery which suits everyone but everyone deserves to recover from a life blighted by eating disorders. We also offer an aftercare and follow up service for our discharged patients to ensure their recovery continues after they leave the service.
The hospital is set in extensive grounds dating back to the 1800's. The Hospital building was previously the Country House known locally as Binny House, Huntercombe Hospital Edinburgh enjoys a highly therapeutic environment which is relaxed, informal, friendly and homely. The beautiful grounds mean we can offer patients access to the gardens and classes on our sheltered terraced area. We facilitate pet care for those who find it helpful and have a house dog to help to give a homely feel.
