The Huntercombe Services Murdostoun - Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre
The purpose built centre has 20 rooms for single occupancy, six of which are en-suite and one transitional living flat.
There is an Assisted Daily Living kitchen, a hydrotherapy pool and separate areas for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and psychology.

About The Huntercombe Services Murdostoun - Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre
We are a centre of excellence for the rehabilitation of people with acquired brain injury. Our multi-disciplinary team, comprised of experts in the field, has a well-deserved reputation for excellence. We successfully bridge the gap from acute rehabilitation to community integration with many locally based activities eg shopping, attending the local sports centre.
Activities
Time and leisure occupations are important features of rehabilitation and patients are encouraged to return to their previous activities, initially with support.

It is really a privilege to work so closely with people who have a brain injury and their families.
It is devastating when someone has a brain injury. Not just for that person but family, friends and colleagues will all go through a dark time. It can be a huge adjustment for everyone and we are so fortunate to have a marvellous team of dedicated and experienced therapy professionals working here. It is good to think that together we can start to shed a little light on the dark times.
