Male only facility

Cambridgeshire

Conifer Lodge is a male only adult learning disabilities care service.

Conifer Lodge is purposely small, with just 13 en-suite bedrooms. Our primary aim is to help individuals improve to a point where they no longer need to stay within our service. We don’t just focus on self-care and daily living skills, we look at building confidence through the learning of new skills, hobbies and activities.

At Conifer Lodge, we support our residents to live the very best lives they can. By believing in better, we help our residents to achieve more every day and to continue to develop and grow. We want every individual we look after to feel as if they are being supported by a family member and to feel completely at home and at ease in our service.

We care for men who have mental health or long-term physical conditions, some of our residents stay with us long-term, others just for a short time before moving on. We also offer respite care for individuals living in the community who might benefit from a change of scene.

Our residents and their families are totally involved in developing their own care plans and in choosing the way they live their lives. We actively encourage our residents to pursue their hobbies and to try out new experiences and learn new skills.

Conditions we support, but are not limited to:

  • learning disabilities
  • bipolar disorder
  • diabetes
  • autism
  • Asperger’s syndrome
  • epilepsy
  • schizophenia
