Huntercombe Maidenhead support Young Minds Campaign

You are here: Home / Stories

The team and patients at Huntercombe Hospital Maidenhead supported the Young Mind’s Hello Yellow campaign for World Mental Health Day on 10 October. When the team spoke to the young people about the campaign, they were really keen to get involved and wanted to wear something yellow to help raise awareness. The young people created t-shirts and a banner for the #HelloYellow campaign and took pictures of them.

Patients said: Young Minds are ‘saving peoples lives’ and ‘helping young people overcome difficulties’ and ‘increasing understanding in mental health and making others aware of the difficulties people with mental health difficulties face’. They also said Young Minds and the Hello Yellow campaign are ‘enabling young people to seek help when they feel they are alone and have no one to go to for support’
