The document “High Quality Care for All” (June 2008) set out the NHS’ vision for quality to be at the heart of everything they do. They describe quality in terms of patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience. Since 2010, all providers of NHS services have to produce a annual Quality Account that shows how we make sure we deliver a high quality service. Our Quality Account lays out our achievements and ambitions for patient safety, clinical effectiveness and patient experience.
