At Cedar House we look after men and women over 18 years with a diagnosed learning disability or mental health condition.

Cedar House is a "low secure" service. This is the term given to a service that provides a high level of physical security. Many of the adults in our service have severe and life-long mental health conditions or learning disabilities. Some of our patients have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) because they are considered a risk to themselves or others. Others may be with us on a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding Order (DoLS) or may have a forensic history. The list below gives some common examples of conditions we treat but it is by no means a complete list. If you have a condition or are enquiring about a condition that is not on this list, please do get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you. You can either call us on 0330 660 5555 or email us at
