Huntercombe Hospital Cotswold Spa is a small specialist hospital that offers treatment to young people who have an eating disorder.
Set in a large mock -Tudor house in the picturesque village of Broadway, we specialise in treating young people (13- 25 years) with an eating disorder, predominantly Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.
We look after young people, mainly as inpatients but sometimes as day patients. Our young people, on average, stay with us for three to four months. We welcome both NHS and private patients.
We are a member of QNIC, a supportive network of healthcare professionals who share best practice to improve the quality of inpatient CAMHS services nationally. To promote the highest level of care, representatives from QNIC visit each member site to carry out a peer review and measure each service against six key criteria. Each site is given a percentage mark for compliance against each of the six standards.
We work closely with the University of Worcester; a public research university, based in Worcester, United Kingdom. Worcester is the only university serving the English counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
We work closely with the Worcestershire Children's Safeguarding Board to keep all children and young people safe and thriving within an environment where safeguarding is everybody's business and intervention and support is timely and right for individuals and families.
Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. They work to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. They are a champion, guide and friend to anyone affected, giving individuals experiencing an eating disorder and their loved ones a place where they feel listened to, supported and empowered.
