All our patients are admitted under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) or under a Community Treatment Order (CTO) that has been revoked. We also admit patients who wish to be admitted voluntarily. Patients may require detoxification from alcohol or drugs or may present with an increase in risky behaviours such as absconding, self-harm, suicide attempts, arson, violence and aggression or sexually inappropriate behaviour. We have a 24/7 telephone referral service so that we can help patients in crisis and we admit patients from all over the UK. We also help patients who are experiencing any of the following:

Axis 1 Type Disorder

Challenging Behaviour as a result of a mood disorder
