The global pandemic of COVID-19, commonly known as Coronavirus, is a fast changing situation for health care services and an uncertain time for all.
The Huntercombe Group are wholly committed to ensuring that we keep all our residents, patients and staff as safe as possible and following recent government advice we are now asking that visitors, including family members, friends and other professionals do not visit any of our Huntercombe sites until further notice. The scientific evidence suggests that limiting movement will help to keep everyone as safe as possible. We appreciate that it is a particularly difficult time to be apart from members of your family and that this may cause some to worry but we feel that this is the right course of action to take at this time.
We will, of course, consider any exceptions to this temporary policy on a case-by-case basis. This is to ensure that we balance the mental and physical wellbeing of the individual with the potential risk to others being cared for. Please make any requests to visit directly with the relevant site.
In the meantime our staff will do all they can to ensure that life in our services remain as optimal as possible for everyone that we look after.
We would really appreciate your support with these measures. We are of course closely following and complying with the Public Health authorities and all associated guidance to ensure that we keep our residents and patients safe and that our staff are supported to continue to deliver great care.
Thank you for your co-operation.
