At Murdostoun, we look after people over 16 who have a brain injury or progressive neurological condition.

Our service is for individuals over the age of 16 years who have mobility and cognitive difficulties as a result of a brain injury or other progressive neurological condition. We are experienced at supporting people who have other associated needs such as tracheostomy care, spasticity, dysphagia, PEG and PEJ care and skin integrity problems. We also provide assessment for individuals in low states of arousal who require a SMART (Sensory Modality Assessment and Rehabilitation Technique) assessment. The list below gives some common examples of conditions we treat but it is by no means a complete list. If you have a condition or are enquiring about a condition that is not on this list, please do get in touch and we'll be happy to advise you. You can either call us on 0330 660 5555 or email us at huntercombe.referrals@nhs.net.
