They deeply care about the residents

I wanted to tell you how caring all the Millwood team are and helpful. They are all so nice and deeply care about the residents and this comes across.  It is a pleasure working with the Millwood team so thank you!

I have enjoyed the lovely dinners

I have been here for a few weeks now after a stroke and aneurysm.  I have enjoyed the lovely dinners you do here everyday and would like to say thank you.  Sadly there is not a lot to look forward to so food is very important.  I’m really wanting to thank you for a lovely Xmas dinner. My daughters feel so much better me being here this time of year now…Thank you very much!

Thank you for all you do and looking after him

Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.

We cannot thank you enough

The work all the staff have done, and are continuing to do, in these difficult times is so much appreciated – we cannot thank you enough.  A rainbow banner still flies outside our house!

Thank you so much for everything you do

To everyone on the Fernwood unit and the therapy team, thank you so much for everything you do.

Thank all the staff for the care and dedication being given to looking after residents- it’s a super job you are all doing!

It was lovely to do something normal together as a family

To Michael and Connie, We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful afternoon BBQ you all put on yesterday.  It was so lovely to do something normal together as a family and it was the first time since 31st March we have been able to enjoy a family meal with mum.  This was really appreciated and please pass on our thanks to the staff involved. Thank you for inviting us.

We see something different every day

Since my sister arrived at Nottingham Brain Injury and Neurological Care Centre we are really pleased with her progress.  We see something different every day.  The physios are very good and they are pleased with her progress…Management, nurses, physios, reception and even the cleaners brilliant.  I can not thank you enough.

It made my day to see her

It was so fantastic to see her out and about.  It made my day to see her. I just don’t know how to thank you all enough for making that trip with her and hopefully it is the first of many more. Just wonderful!

Hats off to you – you did it!

Can’t believe it, thank you so much…You are all amazing in what you are doing for our brother and we can’t thank you enough.  He looks clean, tidy and happy.  Hats off to you – you did it!

I am just overwhelmed by the amount you have already done with him and for him, thank you

He sounds upbeat and positive

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve has a really good conversation with my brother,  he sounds upbeat and positive… He has already done more than he did in a year elsewhere.

The service is really amazing, happy and caring

I know it’s been a lot of hard work but the service is really amazing, happy and caring and it is just lovely to see what a difference you have all made.  All the residents I met were at pains to stress how well cared for they were and how everyone in the whole service plays an important part.  It was lovely to hear that even when their brain injury might make them demanding or frustrated that colleagues were unfailingly patient and kind.  It was also clear that residents’ wishes and inputs are a key driver of the service and the advocate was clear that any feedback is responded to quickly and well.  It was so lovely to get to chat to so many colleagues and hear their views.

One of the best units I have visited

Rosewood is one of the best units I have visited. The team have been supportive and enthusiastic. My client has made significant improvements with regards to her rehabilitation and this is, in part, thanks to the openness and flexibility of the Rosewood team

Such great progress from where she was and how she is today

I would firstly like to say on behalf of my family a huge thank you to everyone who is part of my mother’s recovery.  Just being there at the previous meeting shows how far my mother has come and the amount of progress she has made and if she continues the way she is going she will be home sooner rather than later and it’s all down to the hard work and effort put in by the staff.  It means a lot to me and to the rest of our family to see my mother being well taken care of and having made such progress from where she was and how she is today.
