On Wednesday 11th September, Huntercombe Hospital Stafford ran a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society. The event involved a bake and craft sale and tombola, and also had a raffle with seven amazing prizes! Across the wards, young people helped by baking and making crafts to sell, and also helped to run the stalls on the day.

The cakes baked by the young people included: peanut brownies, gluten free lemon cake, chococcino cake, lemon shortbread chocolate dips, Kinder Bueno cheese cakes and many more. Various crafts were made, including cards, cup cosies, tie dye items, keyrings, hair bands, scrunchies and many more. The event was well attended by all departments and young people. We would like to thank all the young people for giving their time to make and bake items and for helping to sell them, to everyone who came along to support the sale, joined in the raffle and helped us raise money. We raised an amazing £360.05!
