Dr Raju Banisetti

Dr Banisetti undertook his MBBS in India. He moved to the UK in 2003 and since then he has completed his higher training in Sheffield and in Birmingham. As part of his training he worked in different sub-specialities of psychiatry including general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, learning disabilities, substance misuse, personality disorders and eating disorders.

He joined Huntercombe Hospital Maidenhead in August 2010, initially working with the eating disorders team on Wedgwood.   He has been the clinical lead on Tamar, the general adolescent unit since March 2019.

His passion is to work with young people with mental health problems and to help their families understand their issues in order to support them.
